GUIDING COUPLES WITH A RELATIONSHIP-FOCUSED PROCESS

TO SERVE COUPLES SEEKING A MORE personal WEDDING DAY EXPERIENCE

Here to be your biggest supporter, experience advocate, nature guide, trustworthy resource, and elopement day best friend—because I care that your day is something you can look back on feeling fulfilled, elated, and so glad you chose to do your wedding day your way.

Partnering with couples to do more than plan a wedding day that makes them feel happy in the moment—I’m here to help create memories that will last a lifetime.

Eloping is about ditching expectations and choosing not to settle for less than what you want.

When you decide to get married, there’s often a common theme of expectations from the people in your lives to do things a certain way. You’re probably not too keen on these ideas, which is why you’re considering an alternative to the typical wedding framework.

Let’s be clear: eloping is not a watered down, “less-than,” or miniature version of a big wedding. It’s its own beautiful way to begin a life of love together, and the most important piece is that your day makes you feel fulfilled.

Your elopement—while smaller in size than a traditional wedding—is just as meaningful, special, and real as a traditional wedding.

Don’t let anyone tell you differently.

My greatest desire for you is that you can walk away from your elopement and say, “I am so glad we did this. Today felt just like us.”

I believe you deserve an elopement that connects you to the things you value. Whether that’s an intimate celebration with the people you care for most, a multi day itinerary packed full of adventure, or a laid back day just doing your favorite things together, all elopements are their own special experience.

Hey friend, I’m Andrea

After taking a disposable camera to summer camp with me when I was 8, I fell in love with taking pictures. A high school photography class taught me foundations as I started to figure out what I enjoyed photographing & discover my style. Finding my love for couples on their wedding day came from my first wedding when I was 19. Since then, I’ve worked with dozens of couples to help create a wedding day that fulfills them.

I’m an outdoors-loving, nature-exploring, adventure-seeking elopement & intimate wedding photographer, and I’m super passionate about helping couples have an intentional, purposeful wedding day in a place that inspires them. My husband Seth and I got married in 2018. He works in aerospace, and I started my business shortly after we got married. We have three cats: Elanore, Sedona, & Banjo. Together we’ve traveled to nearly 40 states, and we love visiting national and state parks. Our favorite things to do are ride bikes, hike, spend time with friends, watch movies, read books, go to soccer games, take walks through our neighborhood, eat good food, and drink lots of local coffee.

My inspiration comes from natural landscapes & pretty much anything outdoors—especially textures & color—as well as movies and art. Among the quiet magnitude of the outdoors is where I feel most whole.

MY VALUES & PRIORITIES

Real Emotions

You won’t find anything forced around here. My priority as your elopement photographer is to capture the real emotions you experience, preserving those moments for you so you can be fully present on your elopement day.

Authenticity in Natural Landscapes

The landscape you choose to elope in is beautiful and should be captured realistically. I’ll edit your photos with respect for the natural scenery, keeping things as close as possible to how they looked on your elopement day.

Spontaneity & Freedom to be You

Your elopement experience is meant to give the two of you space to be yourselves, embrace a new adventure together, and create all kinds of special memories. I’ll be there to guide you, support you, & capture your organic interactions.

  • 10% of Packages Donated to Outdoor Conservation

When you work with me, I donate 10% of every single elopement package to one of several trusted organizations that actively work to help keep our natural landscapes beautiful and minimally impacted for the enjoyment of generations to come. A few are the LNT Center for Outdoor Ethics, Public Land Creatives, & New England Forestry Foundation.

  • Leave No Trace Certified & Practicing

I’ve been trained on the 7 Leave No Trace principles for outdoor recreation and I walk through those steps with each of my couples with judgment-free dialogue, as well as provide copy and paste information to share with your guests for a minimally impactful elopement. I proudly practice Leave No Trace in my personal and professional life.

  • Local Travel to Reduce Carbon Emissions

Working close to home does more than help my couples plan incredible elopements with local expertise and knowledge—it helps reduce my overall carbon footprint for a positive influence on the photography industry and the environments we have the privilege of working in. When I do travel for work, I take sustainable steps such as minimizing use of plastic and eco-friendly accommodations where available.

FAQ

  • I absolutely love helping my couples prepare with a tried-and-true process leading up to their elopement day! While I’m not a full-service planner or coordinator, all of my packages include timeline building, location scouting, vendor recommendations, & activity suggestions. My couples get a digital planning guide right away after booking, and it covers everything you need to know about planning your elopement.

  • Where & when you elope will have a big impact on your day. Because the weather, climate, wildlife, and potential busyness will always vary from place to place, I’ll help you choose a location that suits your personalities and desires best, as well as suggest the best season to elope there depending on what you want to get out of your day. The very first thing I’ll do after your booking is secured is send over a location questionnaire to get a feel for what you’re looking for. Even if you’re not quite sure yourselves, the questions are structured in a way that will help us figure out what you want your elopement to look like.

  • Not at all! No matter where you’re at in the planning process, I’m happy to chat with the two of you and help you figure out the best plans for your day. If you’re early in the process and have no idea where or when to elope, don’t stress! That’s what I’m here for. I’ll take some time to get to know the two of you on our free consultation call after you inquire, and that will help me determine the best time and place for you to elope. I’ll walk you through some options right there on our call.

You do not have to have a specific date or location chosen to book, just keep in mind that where and when you end up deciding to elope will be subject to my existing schedule, and the retainer to hold your booking is non-refundable. But, we should have no problem working out a date and location that works for everyone :)

  • Every elopement experience and couple varies. I believe the best stories are told by highlighting the most valuable moments that portray the most honest expression of how your elopement experience felt, so I prioritize quality over quantity. With my elopement packages beginning at 4 hours, you can expect to receive anywhere from 200-300 for a shorter day and 500-800 for a full day. Your photos will be delivered via an online gallery within 4 weeks after your elopement (you’ll also receive a small gallery of preview images within 72 hours so you can relive some of your elopement day memories in just a few days).

  • In order to be as present as possible throughout the planning process and on the day of your elopement, I take on a limited number of elopements per year. That number may vary each year based on the length of each elopement/closeness to other bookings so I can provide the best experience possible for all my couples, but I suggest reaching out anywhere from 3-12 months in advance.

However, I can 100% accommodate a short-notice elopement if I have your date available, and I absolutely love helping couples plan last-minute elopements.
