The main aspects that make eloping different from a traditional wedding are the location, the guest count, and the activities or events that take place throughout the day. While traditional weddings generally place the focus on the guests and the party, elopements are much smaller celebrations that shift the focus to an intentional adventure in a natural setting.

The whole purpose of doing things differently is to seek a more peaceful experience both through planning and on the day-of, and to prioritize what matters most to you as a couple—not what tradition says you have to do.

Where and when you elope will have a big impact on your day. As weather, climate, wildlife activity, and potential crowds will always vary from place to place, I’ll help you choose a location that suits your personalities and desires best, as well as suggest the best season to elope there depending on what you want to get out of your day. The very first thing I’ll do after your booking is secured is send over a location questionnaire to get a feel for what you’re looking for. Even if you’re not quite sure yourselves, the questions are structured in a way that will help us figure out what you want your elopement to look like.

I absolutely love helping my couples prepare for their elopement with a tried-and-true process leading up to their day! While I’m not a full-service planner or coordinator, all of my packages include timeline building, location scouting, vendor recommendations, & activity suggestions so you can have the fullest possible experience.

In order to be as present as possible throughout the planning process and on the day of your elopement, I take on a limited number of elopements per year. That number may vary each year based on the length of each elopement and closeness to other bookings so I can provide the best experience possible for all my couples, but I suggest reaching out anywhere from 3-12 months in advance.

I have helped couples plan elopements in a much shorter timeframe however, so even if you’ve only got a few weeks before your elopement, let’s chat!

Not at all! No matter where you’re at in the planning process, I’m happy to chat with the two of you and help you figure out the best plans for your day. If you’re early in the process and have no idea where or when to elope, don’t stress! That’s what I’m here for. I’ll take some time to get to know the two of you on our free consultation call after you inquire, and that will help me determine the best time and place for you to elope.
