WEDDING DAY STORIES TOLD THROUGH PURPOSEFUL & MEANINGFUL IMAGERY

I believe in capturing photos that tell the story of your relationship in an honest, powerful way. A way that transcends time and takes you right back to a moment in an instant just by looking at a picture. Life is made up of moments worth remembering, both big and small, and your wedding day is your chance to show the world that you believe in a marriage filled with adventure and intention.

ELOPEMENTS, INTIMATE WEDDINGS, & VOW RENEWALS

TO ELOPE IS TO EMBRACE THE UNIMAGINED, TO DARE TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT, TO DECIDE YOUR WEDDING DAY MATTERS TOO MUCH TO DO IT THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE

Eloping is about getting to the root of what you really want out of the day you get married. It’s about responding to that feeling within you that craves something different. The one that asks: why not start your marriage with an adventure? It’s about recognizing that time is fleeting, and your relationship matters too much to settle for a wedding day you don’t really want.

Ask yourself this one question: “if there were no limits to what our wedding day could be, what would we want it look like?”

The incredible truth is that you have the freedom to make that day you’re picturing into a tangible reality. Let’s create your dream elopement experience together.

Your photos matter, but you matter more.

I’d like to take a moment to say that taking your elopement photos is an honor and a privilege to me—truly. Every day that I get to wake up and go meet an incredible couple to document their wedding day, my heart is filled to the brim. Throughout the planning process with me and on your elopement day, you’ll see that I approach your entire experience differently.

To me, you’re more than a booking or a chance to make my Instagram look cool. You’re entire human beings who chose to share life with one another, and the day you make that commitment to each other is the first part of this next chapter of your story together. I believe that’s really important, and how you feel throughout that experience is just as important as how your photos turn out.

In a nutshell, that looks like: showing up with extras of everything (bobby pins, stain remover, safety pins, headlamps, a sewing kit, ginger chews, combs, a first aid kit, and so much more), helping put in your veil, letting you take breaks when you need it, staying aware of how you’re feeling, creating a timeline that gives you plenty of time to rest, eat, hydrate, and fully take in your day, and never suggesting you do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or unlike yourselves. When I say I want you to feel comfortable enough to express your truest selves on your elopement day, I really mean it.

I believe giving you a fulfilling, unforgettable experience comes first and foremost—you come first, your photos come second. This doesn’t mean I’ll treat your images or the storytelling process as having any less value, rather that I will approach every moment of your day with the utmost respect for your needs in the moment. I see the two of you as whole human beings deserving of being heard, seen, and loved, especially on your wedding day. And when you and I work together to create a day like that, incredible photos come naturally.

I BELIEVE YOU DESERVE TO GET MARRIED IN A WAY THAT BRINGS YOU THE GREATEST SENSE OF JOY.

When I married my husband Seth and we began traveling together in 2018, I learned just how powerful it is to share meaningful experiences with the person you love. There’s just something about exploring somewhere new together (or an old favorite place) that brings you closer and strengthens your connection as a couple.

I believe the day you get married should feel just like that. A day that you can experience fully and look back on with joy—a day that fills you to your very core.

Let this be your permission to have that kind of wedding experience.

I’m a New Hampshire Elopement Photographer serving couples across the northeast and beyond—I believe the vast magnitude of our diverse natural landscapes is a perfect reflection of how your elopement day should feel: inspiring, immersive, and peaceful.

MY VALUES & PRIORITIES

Real Emotions

You won’t find anything forced around here. My priority as your elopement photographer is to capture the real emotions you experience, preserving those moments for you so you can be fully present on your elopement day.

Authenticity in Natural Landscapes

The landscape you choose to elope in is beautiful and should be captured realistically. I’ll edit your photos with respect for the natural scenery, keeping things as close as possible to how they looked on your elopement day.

Spontaneity & Freedom to be You

Your elopement experience is meant to give the two of you space to be yourselves, embrace a new adventure together, and create all kinds of special memories. I’ll be there to guide you, support you, & capture your organic interactions.

DO WE REALLY NEED A FULL DAY FOR OUR ELOPEMENT?

While eloping is all about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for your wedding day, the thought of filling an entire day without the traditional template might feel a bit scary. EVERYTHING YOU’LL NEED

  • From 4 hours to multiple days, your experience will be documented for whichever length feels best for your vision.

If you have no idea how much time you’ll need, don’t worry. We’ll get on the phone so I can understand your needs better, I’ll walk you through each package so we can determine which is best suited for you.

  • Whether you already know where you want to elope or you need help deciding, the very first thing I’ll do after your booking is official is get to work on a personalized location guide. All I need are a few answers to questions that I’ll gather from a questionnaire, and I’ll scout the perfect location(s) for your elopement.

  • Timeline building is a vital part of making sure your elopement day goes well, and I find so much enjoyment in helping you create a day filled with all the things you care about most. Timeline creation takes place a few months out and we’ll set up a time to go over your timeline on a call so you know exactly what to expect (and to make any tweaks if needed).

  • Florists, videographers, hair and makeup artists, private chefs, small event caterers, dessert makers, and more. I’ll help you find the right people to come alongside you for your best elopement day.

  • Jam-packed with all the info and answers to common elopement planning questions you could possibly need, you’ll receive access to my Exclusive Elopement Planning Guide upon booking.

My guide has a lot of information, so I’ll direct you to certain sections of the guide during specific phases of the planning process so you’re not overwhelmed.

  • Whether you want an exciting day filled with all sorts of fun activities like hiking, kayaking, or rock climbing—or you’re looking for a more laid back experience relaxing in hammocks and having a picnic together, I’ll help you decide what activities to include in your day.

  • It may sound cheesy but it’s simply the truth—I’m here for you. No matter what you need, I’ll do my very best to help out with any questions or concerns you have throughout the elopement planning process.

I’ll check in with you every so often leading up to your elopement so you always feel front of mind, and any time you need to hop on a call and chat through things, I’ll be available. Even if you just need someone to hash ideas out with or vent your frustrations to, I’ll be the support you need to get through any and all of it.

  • So you can relive and share all the best moments of your day right away, you’ll receive an online gallery of highlight images within 3 days. Your final gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks after your elopement, where you’ll be able to look back on and take in every special moment.

  • You don’t have to worry about hidden fees around here—wherever your elopement is happening, my travel is included! (Does not include travel to remote locations via helicopter, private charter plane, 4x4 road, or similar—though I am ALWAYS down to join you for these wedding day adventures!)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • This is a common misconception, but here’s the thing: there is no such thing as a wrong way to elope, whether you're doing something "adventurous" or not. Hiking or rock climbing on its own isn't what makes you an adventurous couple. Though those activities are a super rad way to spend your elopement day if that's what you want, the best way to have a fulfilling elopement experience is to fill your day with things that excite the two of you. That could be relaxing in a hammock while you chat about the day you’ve shared, or it could be taking a helicopter tour over a national park, or it could even be both. The whole purpose of eloping is to make your wedding day an intentional celebration of your relationship, so please don't feel pressured to do anything you're not 100% into.

No matter how you choose to structure your day, going against the grain to have an untraditional wedding day already makes you adventurous. There are also plenty of locations with stunning views that you don’t have to hike to get to, and a heart-pumping list of activities isn't what defines a meaningful elopement experience. At its core, elopements are meant to elevate your relationship itself, and whatever way you choose to celebrate that connection makes your elopement its own version of the perfect day.

  • Where you elope is a huge part of the experience you’ll have, which is why it matters that you choose a place that feels right for the two of you.

We’ll set up a call after you send over your inquiry, where we’ll have a laid back conversation about all the possibilities. There’s a perfect elopement location for everyone, and I’ll help you find it.

*I am not offering international elopements at this time.

  • Of course! I photograph intimate weddings with a small number of guests—generally up to 20 people.

If you’re looking for a way to incorporate your favorite humans without losing that intentional time for just the two of you, you can book a multi day elopement where you set aside one day for your family and friends and another for just you two. Many couples find this to be a really great way to fully immerse themselves in their own experience as a couple, while still having the opportunity to spend precious time with their loved ones without feeling rushed.

  • One of my favorite parts of helping my couples is to assist them in planning out a day they’re really freaking excited about. While I’m not a full-service planner or coordinator, I do craft a custom timeline, create a personalized location guide tailored to the kind of landscape and scenery you’re looking for, recommend vendors, and suggest elopement day activities.

  • Imagine the two of you are coming up with the perfect date day. From sunup to sundown, you get to do anything and everything that would make you happy together and leave you saying, “Yeah, this day couldn’t have been any better.” What would that day look like for you?

When it comes to the way you structure your elopement, I always suggest activities the two of you have always wanted to try or already enjoy doing together.

The beauty of eloping is that you have a blank slate to do anything and everything you want. You can include traditional wedding day elements like a first dance, a cake cutting, a “reception” with your loved ones—and untraditional activities like hiking, kayaking, sightseeing, relaxing in a hammock, rock climbing, and so much more.

  • I’ve seen “bad” weather on elopement days and in my own personal travels make for some of the most beautiful photos and coolest stories. Whether it’s wind, rain, snow, or distant stormy skies, you can expect your experience to be one of a kind.

We’ll have multiple contingency plans set up throughout the planning process so you two can still have a good time and so your day will be one worth celebrating. And, if there’s a risk to safety in regard to weather, I’ll never put you or your loved ones in a position that’s unsafe.

  • I hear you, friend—I want to ease your nerves right away by telling you that an elopement is not about posing in front of the camera the whole day. I believe the best photos are taken when you’re simply interacting with each other naturally, so I take a documentary-style approach to photography.

But don’t worry, I won’t just follow you around awkwardly taking pictures (nobody wants that). I’ll capture the activities you’re taking part in from a fly-on-the-wall perspective, as well as offer some prompts here and there to help guide you when needed. We’ll have a ton of fun hanging out together, and I’ll also give you plenty of space to enjoy each other’s presence during the more personal moments of your day.

Many couples feel overwhelmed at the idea of having a photographer around for more than just a couple of hours, but the best part of an elopement is that you get to fill your day with things you actually want to do instead of just taking tense, curated images all day long. There’s no rushing to get to the next thing or taking pictures just to take pictures. No faking moments, and no obligations. It’s just the two of you (and anyone you choose to bring along) genuinely having a good freaking time doing the things you think would be fun together, making memories you’ll be able to look back on with joy for the rest of your lives. What more could you ask for from your wedding day?

Elopement photography is about documenting the two of you enjoying your day, yes, but it’s also about capturing the little in-between moments—the way the sun sparkles on your dress, the way his hand caresses your arm as you share your vows, the way her eyes light up as you watch the sunset together, the way your shadows hit the ground as you’re exploring the scenery. It’s the art of telling your elopement day story from start to finish. When we partner together to simply capture you two enjoying the heck out of your day, your photos will translate that ease and comfort the two of you feel just being with each other.
